I am originally from Fairmont, WV and was raised in the small Marion County town of Rivesville. I attended Fairmont State University where I received my bachelor’s degree as well as West Virginia University where I received my MBA in Business and Finance. Many of my friends that work for State Farm had been encouraging me to explore a possible career with State Farm for years and I am so glad I finally did! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to run my own agency, have a great team behind me, and serve our community by providing customers with the auto insurance, homeowners insurance, renter’s insurance, life insurance, and business insurance that fits their needs. I met my beautiful wife, Courtney, while in college at FSU, where I started at QB for four years and Courtney was an All-American volleyball player, we are both members of the FSU Athletic Hall of Fame (& yes, she did go into the HOF before me). I convinced Courtney to move to Martinsburg in the summer of 2011. By that winter we were married and welcomed our first child, Grace, in 2012 followed by our second child, Jake, in 2015! Courtney currently teaches at Martinsburg High School, where I also coach QBs, we also enjoy coaching our children in their various sports. Jake plays football, basketball and baseball and our daughter, Grace, enjoys tennis but also plays competitive golf and swims. Additionally, my support system includes my three siblings; Chad, Tyson & Kevi and my father, Bill, who played for legendary basketball coach, Joe Retton, at FSU, where he also met my mother, Linda, whom we miss daily.
